Even as a daily driver when you’re not doing scenic road trips, small Fiats are just better! I reckon it’s something most people don’t truly understand until they’ve gotten behind the wheel of one though.

I've owned three W123s: an auto '85 200, a manual '85 230E and an auto '85 280E. The 230E unfortunately only had the 4-speed gearbox, a 5th gear would've made a world of difference. The engineering on these cars was incredible and the ride quality unsurpassed, especially off-road (I remember doing 15km off-road with a flat rear tyre after it was penetrated by a sharp stone, I didn't notice it was flat). Now I'm driving a '92 W124 230E with 220k km. MB stopped building fine cars in the mid-to-late 2000s, if one includes the W211.

The bike looks lovely! I have a low mileage ER-5 myself that needs some TLC, paint and chrome quality is horrible on this bike so it needs a full cosmetic makeover (rust everywhere). After watching your video I think I will get the frame and swingarm sandblasted and possibly powdercoated though :)

Brake cleaner and a little wd-40 can losen the connectors I had the same issue in my Tipo with licence plate lights.

Wiper motor is definitely just seized! Happens them all. The long shaft that goes out to the wiper arm corrodes as there is a rubber seal on top that wears out. Take off the circlip at the wiper arm threaded end. Gently knock the shaft out of the housing. Clean and lots of grease. Reassemble and enjoy clear rear window again!

I used silversil to get a some really bad tint off some cheap Puma lights I got off ebay. It's used for cleaning UPVC it absolutely stinks but it's good stuff

I ordered for my seicento new hose,fan and radiator. I started to leak a little bit of antifreez on the hose that is going to the engine where the water pump is.

Found this channel after buying a 2000 Seicento Hobby SPI last week. It's really nice! Relatively low mileage, no rust spotted yet! It's great seeing people like you with experience in the Seicento realm. Thanks for sharing! I am going to keep it stock, apart from maybe suspension. Personal preference not a fan of decking it out :)

I once owned a Suzuki Front'e car. It was tiny, but had 4 doors and was powered by a 3 cylinder 360cc 2 stroke rear mounted engine. It would cruise happily at 100kph all day. Other small cars I've owned are: 1936 Austin 7, Standard 10, Reliant supervan, Subaru Justy, Renault 4, Fiat Cinquecento, Toyota Fun cargo, Toyota Ractis, Nissan cube. All great fun! 'Multum in parvo', ( much in little).
